The Trust's annual income is restricted to the advancement of higher and further education in the Dioceses of Durham and Newcastle and is presently committed to supporting the North of England Institute for Christian Education, the North East Religious Learning Resources Centre, several lectureships, chaplaincies (in particular the chaplaincy in the College of St Hild and St Bede), scholarships, libraries and a demonstration school.
