Maryvale offers a first degree in Divinity (B Div) that provides a systematic and comprehensive treatment of the Catholic faith, validated by the Faculty de Notre Dame, Paris.

The programme has two pathways; pathway A follows a traditional structure allowing for a systematic study of the science of theolology whilst pathway B is designed to assist students in their preparation for ministries in the Church.

The Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies for trainee and qualified teachers aims to provide a basic qualification in Catholic Religious Education. It is in accordance with the requirements laid down by the Board of Studies of the Bishop\'s Conference of England and Wales. The Certificate is awarded with the authority of the Archbishop of Birmingham.

Religious Education and CatechesisMADistance learning: 30 monthsThis programme is particularly suitable for those in the teaching professions: existing teachers of RE value the opportunity of improving their theological and professional expertise, while qualified teachers in other disciplines can specialise in RE in Catholic schools. The degree is also for catechists, parents, clergy and religious. The programme leads to the Open University Validated award of Master of Arts (OUVA).
