'The Certificate is a useful additional qualification. For students on BAEd or PGCE programmes, it supplements professional training and is relevant if you are thinking of teaching in the (Anglican) church school sector. For students on the BA Combined Honours programme, taking TRS as your second subject in year 1 would give you this qualification even if you dropped TRS in year 2. It is also an opportunity to undertake a study of religion in an open and investigative way and useful for anyone intending to go on to do a PGCE.' |
