St John's Extension Studies

St John's Extension Studies provide courses in theology by distance learning. Programmes of study are suitable for teachers in full or part-time employment who wish to develop their knowledge base for teaching, as well as for head teachers, senior staff and governors of faith schools who wish to nurture their own understanding of Christianity in order to be better equipped to lead faith schools. There are programmes accredited by Chester University and St John's certificated programmes which offer greater flexibility of study than university validated programmes are able to offer. Programmes of study lead to the awards of Certificate, Foundation Degree, Bachelor of Arts and Professional Certificate.
