Quaker Peace & Social Witness

Quaker Peace & Social Witness (QPSW) is a department of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). QPSW works with, and on behalf of Friends in Britain to translate faith into action. Quakers are impelled by faith to make an active witness for peace and justice. Three strands make up our work: UK Peace Work, Social Witness and Global Work. Both in Britain and abroad QPSW works to promote nonviolence, disarmament, trade and development, community justice, human rights, peace education and housing. QPSW also represents Quaker testimonies to the British Parliament and to the United Nations in Geneva.
