Network of Buddhist Organisations (UK)

The Network of Buddhist Organisations was founded in 1993 and has three aims. These are:

1. to promote fellowship and dialogue between Buddhist organisations,
2. to facilitate co-operation in matters of common interest,
3. to work in harmony with Buddhist and other like-minded organisations throughout the world.

Member organisations appoint one or two representatives to attend the quarterly meetings and individuals or small organisations may join with associate status. The quarterly meetings decide business as appropriate to our aims, above, and we also devote part of the day to discussion of a topic of general interest to Buddhists.

The organisation is entirely non-sectarian and any organisation which calls itself Buddhist may apply to join. The Network encourages links and communication between Buddhists of all traditions.
